We came across an adorable DIY project for a centerpiece over on the
Hostess Blog. This project can easily be customized to coordinate with your event for a lovely centerpiece. Choose paper and ribbons to match your theme, change out the flowers, even change the birds to hearts, flowers, baby booties, a shape that coordinates for you! The project can be adapted for a baby shower, bridal shower, or birthday party with a little creativity.
YOU’LL NEED:
Small Bedding plants (English Daisies pictured here)
Shallow rectangular vase
Die-cut Chipboard Shapes (pictured here: Maya Road’s Song Bird Coasters)
Decorative Papers (pictured here: Craft Fair by American Crafts)
Lollipop sticks
Glue stick or spray craft glue , Hot Glue Gun, Scissors
Faux flower or other embellishment for the vase (optional)
