Polaroids, Favorite Streets, & NYC

We are just loving the sophisticated Bryant Park Grill, NYC wedding of Erica & Andy. Weddings by Chris Leary Photography sent us this amazing wedding and we could not pass up the opportunity to share it with you. This one is all about the fun little details. Keep reading for the all the ways the bride incorporated a little fun into this chic event. Chris Leary did an amazing job photographing this event. Visit his site for a look at some of his other amazing work, you will not be disappointed, we weren't! You can also get a free copy of  "10 Mistakes Brides Make When Planning Their Wedding Photography." NYC brides, love his work? Contact him for availability.

The table names were inspired from the couples love of NYC
.
- Two of our favorite things to do together are exploring New York neighborhoods and photography (especially black and white). We are always on a 'photo journey' around NYC. So we wanted to make the table names personal by taking pictures of the signs from our favorite streets in New York. For example, Irving (where the bridal party sat) is the street we live on.
As guests arrived, they took polaroid photos, pasted them into book and then signed.
- For the polaroids - We didn't want to do the traditional sign-in Guest Book and had a friend that used the polaroid idea and fell in love with it. I mean, who actually goes back to read who attended their wedding? It was my favorite part of the day after the wedding: going through all the pictures in the books which really showed how much fun the guests had with it. Pictures ranged from traditional poses to hilarious group shots.
